Default Are H3's accepted as trade-in's these days ???

Perhaps a dumb question but I have heard rumor's that many dealerships are not taking Hummers in on trade, if true, is it for the H2's AND H3's or just the H2's ?

Im asking because I might have to get a pick-up (a work related reason, not a gas related reason),,if I need to swap out frommy 08'H3 I would be getting another Tacoma (my other favorite truck besides Hummer) so I am wondering if I will get raped if trying to trade-in my H3 on a new Tacoma,,,,, or are Tacoma sales hurting as well and my H3 trade-in would be welcomed by a Toyota dealership???

Thanks in advance for any advice.
Cheers
Davyo

I've seen H2's and H3's on used lots. They had to be either lease returns or trade-ins.
Make a few calls, it should be easy enough to find out.

You might also want to check used car dealers like CarMax. I always got more money from CarMax than what the dealership offered me for trade.

When I had my last free oil changed a few weeks ago, I asked my salesperson about how HUMMERs were selling. He told me the used ones were selling much better than the new ones. So, I'd say at least trading for another HUMMER or a Caddy would be possible.

I got offered $18500 for my 06 H3 last weekend by a Chevy dealer. Decided not to trade for the time being. That was the second one we visited that day. The first Chevy dealer offered $15100 and would not budge.

I got an offer of $15,000 for my H3 on trade for an H2 from two dealers. One of them was in Missouri, the other was in Nebraska. One of them phoned me later and dropped his cash price on his H2 $2000, so he was really giving me $13,000. They both told me they had an H3 on the lot they couldn't sell for $18000. Both of them lied to as they had there H3's priced at $19,995. Dummies don't think i can look on the internet? I can see their prices and the prices these things go for. I don't see any priced for $15,000 anywhere I hate playing those stupid games. No one will buy there H3's because they wont offer anything for trade unless you play their stupid games. So at least in my area, they are taking them as trade, but only if you like taking it up the you know where.
