So what is the issue with these covers, they look awesome. I have found one that looks exactly like the H3X cover that is after market, here is a link:

Does anyone know anything about these being better quality?

 

Well, they're not the OEM style exactly, that's for sure. They use an elastic vinyl ring like my cover and look kind of silly up close in my opinion, like a normal cover cross dressing as a hard shell.

The OEM one's are a true 100% hard clam shell design that latches open and closed.

That being said the quality is great, just like my cover, because they're both made by boomerang.

If the posters looking for the H3x white spare tire cover and stock H3x 18 inch wheels are still interested, I have both. Tire cover is in great shape with no cracks or breaks, chrome insert is showing some small bubbling though but when cleaned and shined still looks nice (I would suggest a clay bar application and waxing to bring the clear coat shine out better).

Wheels are stock, look to be chrome plated and the chrome is peeling on some spots, I would consider them mechanically great (straight and they balance with tires perfectly) but cosmetically I think they could use a good sand blasting and either powder coated or re-chromed. I know this is an old thread but just came across it and if the people that are looking for the black H3X spare tire cover and/or the 18" H3X Chrome rims are still in need, I have both available.
