Default H3 stuff.....

Is it me or is my H3 steering wheel a little stiff. i only drove 18k miles so far, are all the HUMMER cars like?

When i reverse and turn the steering wheel all the way to the left or right. sum time the H3 doesn't move. So i got to release the turned steering wheel a little bit. idk its kind of weird. Also my car start to go right when i let go off the steering wheel. idk if ive been to aggressive on the car or the wind factor deals with it but about half the time the car starts to swerve right. i may need a wheel alignment. I did jump a median curb on the street at like 15mph. lol

Ive been starting to get scratches on the back of the car where it sticks out on the back wheels. where the passenger doors are on the bottom of them. I think the front tires kick rocks into it, because when i drive in the snow or rain the back sides of my car a wet or snowy.... dam HUMMER designers.loljp. i got a little nicks on my windshield from rocks form the highways.

ANYBODY have problems like mine or different?

I can't say for the steering, as I haven't had any steering issues with my H3t, in fact my steering is very solid and responsive.
As for the scratches on your rear wheel flares, I saw that as an immedate up coming issue with mine when I took delivery of it so I took preventive mesures.

First thing I did was put the (GM) mud flaps on (behind) the front tires, and this made a huge difference keeping the front tires from throwing stuff on the rear flares. You can buy the flaps in sets 2s or 4s, I just went with the set of 2 as I wanted the front ones for function not apperance.

Second thing I did is had 3M "Clear Bra" custom cut and applied to the front lead side of my rear fender flares. This is the same "Clear Bra" that is used and applied to many car front ends to prevent rock chips. This stuff is clear, and you have to find the edges to see it. No one even notices it unless I point it out.

The H3 has a crazy insane tight turning radius for off roading. The front almost turns too much and you feel the AWD binding. Do NOT turn the steering wheel ALL the way on pavement. You do not need it, and with an AWD vehicle turning to full lock on dry pavement chews your tires.

Save the full lock turns for when you have to get it done because of obsticles.
