I am doing the same thing right now on my Suzuki M109R. I am taking all the chrome and painting it. i am using Duplicolor products. sand the chrome down, adheshion promoter and then prime and paint. looks great.. i will be doing this to the HUMMER come spring when i can work outside..

looks great man!!

That's the brand - Duplicolor! It sprays on nice. Doing on a run on Sunday..we'll see how it holds up against some mud and rocks

Hey dooks that grill is nice bro!

Looks really good! I have debated doing this to mine, but wasn't sure how it would look on a red one.

Is that paint as heavy as LineX spray? I had a truck toolbox sprayed with LineX once and it made thebox so friggin' heavy that the lid wouldn't stay open! I was thinking about having whatever type of side protection bars I get sprayed with LineX but was concerned with the weight. Maybe this paint is the way to go.

no, not heavy at all. Here's a pic of it without the guard..



I think I'm going to leave it like this for now...It's been awhile since I've seen that grill. My brush guard and fog lights changed the look of it I forgot how it looked - LOL!!!
