H3 new buyer/transfer case issue?

Sounds like a steal around $4,300 for an '06 H3. Owners description and fact he's already identifying a TC problem is important. Also a mechanic friend has mentioned a "clutch" problem perhaps the shift fork itself. Yes you can still drive the vehicle but the "binding issue" has to be corrected. Seek an area Hummer dealer for fast service $750 total or less depending for rebuild with aluminum fork replacing plastic. Great threads on this as other have suggested, great help from doc, tainter, happy3, CWC and the gang. Good luck.
