Was that FJ stuck? If it was that was pretty sad.

I'm no 4x4 expert, and I may be wrong, but that trail did not look that bad. Why were they having so much trouble?Name: coffee.gif

he probably didn't have it in 4wd. i can't imagine why having one wheel off the ground would be a reason to get stuck. or, the little bit of air frightened the pee out of the driver.

And THIS is what is supposedly competition for the H3? Give me a break. I think my Scion xB could have driven over those hills they are so small. I don't ever want to hear someone again say the FJ can be compared to the H3. This is just sad. This video and the one of the FJ smashing into the trees show just how unstable and unpredictable it is.

aside from being one of the butt fugliest vehicles made, i think with the right driver the FJ would be a credible offroader. i think that video just showed how poorly it can perform with a poor driver. that's not saying it's comparable to the H3, but i'm sure it could drive over those hills if the driver knew what the hell he was doing.

Oh my friend, I hate to argue this, but those hills were so small a big wheel could probably roll over them with no problem. It looks like 3 wheels were on the ground. There is no reason that thing should be stuck. Maybe the guy didn't have it locked and the FJ has a AWD system. I'm not sure. You could be right, but then again, 3 wheels on the ground with no movement is pretty bad!

I just watched that again. I'm surprised that no one got hurt. Plus if you own one off these off road kings, make sure you bring along an over weight friend to stand on your bumper.
