Well Hello everyone.My name is Mike,
I just sold my Tahoe and I'm Going H3 shopping this weekend. I have owned many Jeeps in the past But fell in love with the Hummer at first sight. and have wanted one every sense. I have a couple of Questions I would like to ask. First is there a huge difference between the Basic model and the Adventure package that one would notice beyond the tire size? and Second I have looked at all the threads I have seen about Towing but just wanted to hear more input. I have a 6x14 cargo trailer(weight loaded no more than 2100lbs) that I hauled with a 1999 jeep wrangler 4.0 and it struggled so I bought the Tahoe which of course had no problem at all. should I expect the H3 to struggle at all ?..I really have enjoyed reading all the post on here. the last few weeks as I have pondered this Purchase and Can't wait to be Cruising around and Customizing my own H3 ..thanks for any input anyone might be able to give me..Mike

Don't mean to be sarcastic... but I guess I'm used to the Karting forum I belong to.. if a newbie ask a Question people are jumping at the chance to help them.. Doesn't matter if they're Male or Female we just everyone to enjoy the karting as much as we do..I Hope when I learn more about my H3 I can help someone new when they have a Question....Mike

 

Hey Mike. I know what you're saying. I'm on a few other boards too and this one tends to run a little slower than most on activity. Could be that everyone is out 4 wheelin’.

I upgraded from a Tahoe myself, but I just couldn't pass up such a good deal on the H2 I just got. I test drove the H35 banger and I just couldn't get over the lack of power. The dealer had a couple of H3s with the new 5.3L V8 which is what my Tahoe had, but the price was still to steep – Red tag or not. I figured it was worth it to get a full sized H2 with the 6L and a few miles on the OD for the same price, if not less.

I would like to go the H2 road but even used is a bit to steep of a price for me..
I'm looking at an 2007 H3 for less than 19,000 with less than 20,000 miles.. with most of all the options I want...
I know I'm probably going to regret the Power loss from my Tahoe ..But I just have to have a Hummer.. Thanks Again Mike
