the h3 only shares 10 percent of the canyon/colorado ,the motor the tranny and the front little square of floorboard in front of the front seats...............actually the brake system is designed by the same company that manufactures stuff for toyota .............. they actually took design engineers on the offroad trails with them and got them to fine tune their systems untill the h3 would make it through the trail without breaking parts ect. ( they used trails like the rubicon and the golden crack ) i referenced all this info from a book called HUMMER H3 by Larry Edsall its a great read with lots of pics ect.
