I'm in the market for a performance exhaust. I'm thinking about Magnaflow. I'm looking for something sounding great on acceleration but will quiet down and not heard when cruising. Would appreciate any feedback by fellow alpha owners...thanks

 

I have the Magnaflow and am very happy. It's got a nice, powerful tone that's not overwhelming. I am a little concerned that over time/mileage, it's going to get louder, and I'm happy where it's at right now. Check e-bay. I got mine, new, shipped for $389.

 

Thanks for the advice. I understand that exhaust systems usually mellow down as the carbon builds up on the system.

 

How is it when cruising..can you notice it?

 

I put a Magnaflow on my Alpha. It was just slightly louder than factory. I put a straight pipe in place of the resonator and now it's purrrrfect.
