I read(can't remember where) that GM will UNVEIL the H3 Alpha at the Big Car Shows in 2007, I guess the Detroit show. Probably another year or 2 after for production.

 

Yea, there will be a V8 in '08.
It may be called the H3 Alpha. I'm not sure on the engine size but even if it's a small V8, it will have a lot power! I also heard they will be upgrading the drivetrain as well to cast iron diffs. I HOPE!!!

Cast iron diffs would be nice! I think it will be must with the added power! I'm eager also if it's going to have front lockers! that would be the shiz nit!

That will be just about warranty end time for me..the 08 whatever H3 it is, will be my current H3's replacement..for sure!

 

man I'm so glad I leased my H3 instead of buying it. Once the alpha hits my lease will about be up.......almost like I planned it that way

 

I agree! The Dealers are going to have a lot of 06's on their used lots in 08'!!

 

I would love to get it, but I for one am satisfied with mine, despite the problems here and there. I put too much time into customizing it to give it up, besides, I'm getting 20 or more MPG now so I can't possibly complain.

he got his pcm re-tuned by PCM for less ( one of our sponsors) Look for their banner to the right of the screen. He also has a manual and drives like a fairy
