H3 24 Month Lease

H3 24 Month Lease
Hello everyone,
I'm looking into leasing an H3 for two years (just asa daily driver/fun ride). I love the way it looks, it looks great inside and it rides good (compared to my Jeep).
The only thing I wish it had more of is Torque - but that's OK. The jeep's quicker but it's ugly.
So. to my question. If there's anyone else doing the same thing (24mo lease), what was your down payment and what is the monthly payment.
I ended up with $4399 out of pocket (incl. tax, plates, cap cost reduction, acq fee) and $208 a month. It seems OK to me, nothing to shout about.
Just wondering what everyone else thinks.
Rgds

RE: H3 24 Month Lease
that much out of pocket on a lease sucks cause you will never get any of it back and it won't help your buy out option either. Most experts recommend putting nothing down on a lease. I put zero down and m around $400 mo. for 39 month lease.........too bad I got two years left[:@]

importkiller,
Thank you for your suggestion. If I put $0 down, the mo payment will be [198 + (3000/24) ] x 1.05 = $339.15 / mo, which isn't bad I guess.Which means my out of pocket will be $1378, which could be the money from my junker Jeep!

ORIGINAL: Midlifetoy
$1400 down 254 a month for 27 months.

That's already a better deal than what I got [:-]. Did you do it through GMAC and when did you get it?
On a side note: Are you planning on getting the 2008 E92 M3? That's what I'm planning on doing too, hence I wanna move the CLK55 and just drive the Hummer for a while until the M3's prices stabilize. (Dealers will probably ask above MSRP for them when they come out).

RE: H3 24 Month Lease
What option level are you talking about? There's a big difference btwn leasing a $30K H3 vs. a $40K H3.
In general, though, the leasing debate doesn't have a winner, in my mind. It's great for some, but others just can't justify it. I'm leasing my H3. I just got so sick of getting ripped off on every trade in I've made and selling myself is just not worth it, though it clearly limits the amount of upgrades you'll make on the vehicle.

I considered purchasing too, but just like you I'm sick of getting ripped off on every trade-in / selling.
By the way, I just want a base Hummer ($29,995). I don't really care about the luxury stuff, even though the big tires + off road bits would be nice.. but not for $2k.
Is that your hummer in your avatar picture? Those are neat projector headlights! I definitely want those
Thanks
