Smile H2 and Super Swampers

I need a little advice about the tires that my most wonderful husband just ordered for my 2007 H2. The tires that he ordered were: http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT...mperBogger.htm I've read in some online articles that spacers were needed, but I found nothing negative as far as wear and tear on my Hummie. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to my Hummie before and while these monsters are on my baby?

Thank you in advance

All depends on the size you are putting on. 35s or 37s???

Thank you for responding Tainter My husband said when he ordered them, he was told they were 36". I'm just wondering if we need to make any other changes to my hummie because of the size.

Terrie are you running stock rims? Could you ask him exactly what size he ordered? Knowing that will help us, if you have aftermarket wheels chances are the back spacing my be different and that could dictate which direction you should go...

The size is 37x13.00-17LT with an overall dimension of 36.8". They are factory rims, unless of course I need to buy some new ones for the fit. I just want to make sure the swampers aren't going to adversly affect anything else on my baby.

Thank you so much for your reply

You should be fine, They are 1/2" wider than stock and "2inches" taller... However they are boggers and they have a tendency to rub becuase of their aggressive lugs... The rubbing would be isolated to the sway bars and possibly the inner fender liner under flex while off roading... Are you wheeling the H2? Or is it a DD for you?

Well... While I'm hardly afraid to take it offroad and will have lots of opportunity to do that with the snow and rainy seasons on the way, it will be primarily a rolling billboard for my company. I just need to make sure that these big hunks of rubber won't do damage. I am contemplating a second set of tires and wheels for the street.

Ok makes sense. However boggers have a really short life expectancy because of their tread pattern and soft rubber... Though it will look really bad ***... I would save those for the trails and think about a M/T tire such as the Mickey Thompson MTZ, BFG KM2s, Or others they look aggressive enough but will outlast the boggers 4x!
