Please post back and let us know if that fan clutch cures what's ailin your 2. If you don't mind, what was the cost of the replacement? Thanks.

Picked one upat the local parts store to try for $54.99(could have gotten one from GM for $109.99).Gonna put it on tonight.

LOL! Sorry, we just got back in town. After the clutch install it was still spiking pretty high (230ish) after sitting at an idle for a few minutes. So I replaced the T-stat right before we went out of town. With the boat in tow,FULL of luggage, the wife and both kids it ran perfect(in all fairness it was about 15 degrees cooler than last week AND I didnt do much idling!) I drive a little more this week to be sure. Thanks-Philip
