The Nelson harness supports a manul kill switch.
Have you completed your electric fan install? What the verdict? Still looking for a HOW TO on this. Also, anybody have part numbers for all needed items?

Thanks guys.

ok first of all the 08s and up h2's have electric fans from the factory and the gas milage improvement is small. The 6 speed tranny probably has alot more to do with it and the extra 75 horsepower when you need it so you dont have to drop down a gear. I would say that the amount of money and work to switch an h2 over to electric fans just for the purpose to save gas is NOT going to be worth it. It could take you years and years to make up the cost of doing if EVER. There is NO WAY an older h2 is going to get 17mpg on the freeway just by freeing up 10-20hp from an electic fan and the 4 speed transmission. Like I said my 2008 already has electric fans and a 6 speed tranny instead of a 4 speed, and I have my roof racks removed, rear tires removed, and mobile 1 gas saving synthetic oil and the most you can get on the freeway is about 15mpg on average, not just a 10 second burst going downhill. If you want to save money on gas then those are teh few things you can do: remove spare tire, remove weight, remove drag: remove roof racks and offroad lights, add mobile 1 fully synthetic eco oil that saves gas.

Very good info but i'm not doing it just for gas mileage, if it saves a little gas then of course thats a bonus. I want to get all the horsepower I can from it. Figured if intake, exhaust, diable predator gives about 10 - 20 Horsepower each this is an equal power adder without any sacrafices. Every little bit adds up, until I can afford the MagnaCharger. These little upgrades are a good step to the supercharger and will go along nicely.

Wink I put electric fans on my Expediton

I got no statistical difference in gas milage. (I took data and did a t-test) I am that geeky. I did however feel the difference in power. No way to measure it though. My conclusion was that it was a waste of money.

It may be possible, I finished tuning my Diablo after installing only Magnaflow and Volant Intake w/MAF and I am seeing 14.3 mpg consitently at Hwy cruising speed 70 mph with cruise control on. If the electric fans gives even 1 more MPG I will be in the 15 MPG range. This will help out a lot since now I have to use 91 octane with my tune. But I like Horsepower and didn't buy this thing to be super economical.
