Default H2 mileage improvement

I replaced my stock engine driven fan with twin Flex a Lite fans. I can now get 15 - 17 mpg @ 70mph

How does changing the fan increase fuel mileage?

replacing belt driven fans with electric units will free up some HP and improve mileage slightly just because there is less drag on the motor...BUT..not THAT MUCH!!!!

Best I've ever seen was 15 mpg. And that was on 95 between Fredricksburg and Rocky Mount, doing around 65-70 mph.

Although I think I had a good tailwind

I dunno for the doubters..... they say that taking the fan off of a stock 2.3l Ranger frees up 12hp....

The gains on an H2 are about 15-18hp when going to electric fans. I am going to swap mine to the GM 2500HD pickup fan parts, use Nelson Performance wiring harness, Predator programmer with custom tune, and a manual override switch to turn them off when treading deep water. The Nelson harness supports a manul kill switch.
