Default H2 Light Bar fit my 2008 H3 roof rails?

Thanks for the help - great forum. Tried to search for the answer - could not find. My buddy has an older H2 - he is trading it in
this wk/end - he asked me if I wanted his factory light bar w/lights - I certainly do - but, will his set-up fit my roof rails as well? (2008 H3)

They (the H2 rails) look similar to the H3 rails - any help? Its just a simple bar w/round KC-like lights attached.

Also, if they will not fit (too wide, wrong shape, config. etc.) Are there cheap alternatives? Could I simply purchase a Thule rack & clamp
on off road lights to the bar? This would be for off road (nothing fancy) Lastly, any used set-ups out there - I'd be interested as well.. thanks for
reading my note - Much Appreciated!

I don't have an answer for you but remembered reading something similar recently. Check out this link to another forum topic. Hope it helps.

Thank you for that Bennersj - You're right, same question essentially & alas, it does not look like it
will fit w/out mods. A shame, as it was for free. Maybe I'll investigate if it can be cut or adjusted..

Most Appreciated - just dislike the stock H3 integrated lights above the windscreen...

Thanks Again - the search continues!

I'm sure whatever mods would be required will still be cheaper than buying one. Plus it will give you the one of a kind look. Try it what do you have to lose?
