H2 Idles too low

RE: H2 Idles too low
mine's always idled between 500 and 600. not sure i'd want it any faster, i'd have to fill up between red lights. glad to hear it's doing well, but keep your ears open and watch the gauges. did you ever get a chance to see if you had thrown any engine codes? would be interesting to know what, if any, popped up.

RE: H2 Idles too low
Seems to be running fine now. I never had a check engine light and I don't have a code reader. I think maybe it had something to do with using my remote start andnot starting it with the key after changing the battery. I still need to put the optima back in.

Learned the hard way .......
.......... that WHENEVER changing out or disconnecting the battery on my computerized vehicle (my 1st was a 2000 seville STS), connect another 12V source to the leads. Naturally you don't have to have near the amps of the car battery to keep the memory from erasing. I think someone even make a 9V battery powered thingy that plugs in the cigarrette lighter for this purpose. Its always worked for me. Best of luck.
