My hummer has a 6" Bullet Proof lift with 40" x 15.50" tires and 22" rims. I recently had to replace my front differential due to my lift putting too much stress and cracking the casing on the diff. It was recommended that I replace my front suspension to a single axle supension like the rear suspension. Does anyone have any feed back as to if this is a good idea or not? I really don't want to have to replace my front differential again seeing how it cost me nearly $2600 to replace. Thanks!!

 

SAS swap would be nice, it can be a bit expensive if you buy everything new.

im not sure how much info there is on here about it but if you check out some of the chevy forums like fullsizechevy.com, they have alot of guys that swap on trucks.

you can search on here first and see if there are any threads about it, then google, then other forums like FSC imo that would be the best way to find what you are looking for.

I have heard great things about longevity of them if done right, but i think they would ride too much different for me to enjoy. that is just my thought though, i havent tried one to verify. I would say it would be like driving a ford or dodge truck from a while back or any old style truck from the 80s. I enjoy the IFS front suspension, even though it is limited and isnt as good off road.
