Guys, have you seen any holder for the back of a H2 for a military style 20L gas can? ANy photos? Any thoughts??

I want a nice one for the back, would help with trips up north where I don;t trust the gas from those older gas stations that see a car one a week, who the hell knows what has settled in there!!

i've never seen one on the back of an H2. do you have the spare tire on the back, or on the roof or inside? if you don't have a spare on back you could probably add a spare tire carrier and mount the carry brackets to it. i put mine on the roof rack, although 5 gallons isn't going to take me very far . . . . [&o]

Ya I have a Spare inside, I thought I saw once a bracket for the back, on a forum or somewhere, 5 gallons ain't much but about 100Kms will hopefully take me to the next station. How do you carry it on top?? Just strap it down?

i have a gobi rack, so i just strap it to the rack. i mounted a small piece of angle iron to the rack to act as a stop so the can doesn't slide front to back. all it needs is one strap over the top and i'm good to go.

best on i could find with the gas can. only 2 gas stations in death valley, so the can seemed necessary.
