Red face H2 engine washing with high presurred water

Hi Gents,

I'm new to Hummer and just bought an H2. The place where I live in is very dusty and extremely hot (middle east). I was thinking to get it washed every 3-4 days at least, with high pressured water sprayed to it.

I like to get everything clean, including the engines. Since new to this H2, how safe is it to spray the high pressured water to the engine to get it clean ?

Especially if after playing in the sand (dune bashing), is it OK to get the engine clean with high pressured water washing ?

Any feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Cheers

If by "high pressure" you mean a car wash, then you should be OK. I use that to clean out the engine compartment. If you actually mean a high pressure washer, then be careful. Mine will etch stone and concrete, so you definitely wouldn't want to use that.
