RE: H1 cooling heres the answer
I have just bought a 96 TD with 89k. It has been well maintained, but I have read about the head and block isuues due to cooling. I have seen products at places like Teakatoys.com that have a coolant balance flow system. Does this tend to help with this, or is it a waste of money.

My 97 wagon runs at 190 degrees. Doesn't seem to matter if I am running 75 on the highway or putting around town. I do not have a head cooling unit and have not had any engine work done to the truck. It has 58,000 miles on it.
