H1 from Bulgaria
Hi all,
I found this site and the forum 6 months ago, but I was only searching and reading. Finaly I have decided to register and introduce me and my car.
My name is Toma, I`m 26, married with one little boy. I live and work in Sofia - Bulgaria in "HP server support centre" ( Eastern Europe ). A month ago I`ve "nailed" this beast
It`s a 2003 6.5TD and it is realy beautifull. BUT...
Everything was fine since last monday. When I start the engine and it is cold I can drive 2-20 or even 200km. But if I use the kick-down and force the engine above 2200RPM or just shut it down after it is already hot - here we start with the problems.
If I try to start the engine again when it is still hot I could drive without any problems, but most of the time I`m going crazy because the engine dies by no visible reason. First I tought that it is caused by no fuel in the primary tank, but I`ve tried with the external one which is full-to-the-cap all the time and it is the same. Believe me it is not funny to drive a 3 ton "anchor" with 60mph and in the next second the engine just dies - you got no power steering anymore nor brakes. Ussualy it takes me under 4 seconds to switch to "neutral" and to start the engine again, but some day these 4 seconds will not be enough.
I`m not sure were or what to look for. Please advice me.
Regards,
P.S. - Excuse me for my bad english ( I`m doing my best )
