Default Grill Guard Recommendations

So far I'm leaning toward the factory piece or the similar Manik grill guard in black and a set of round off-road lamps.

- Are there any trade-offs to consider like front end protection, wind noise, vibration, or fuel economy?

- I realize that this is mostly a taste issue but does anyone have any other suggestions?

You can have my brand new only 30 days old Aries brush guard for 250.00 I paid 450.00 for it last month. It actully looks better then the factory one.Same style but more black then the grayesh color the factory one is.I ll even throwin the nerf bars in for 100 if you want both to match.I know this isnt the place to sell something but though I tell you since you were asking about getting a brush guard.

Factory ones do not have mounts on them for light but you can buy theses for the factory ones to add lights.

and you can buy them at http://www.h2parts.com/ click on H3 and the lighting

I'll check out the Aries too and see.

Did you change your mind about putting on the bars or did you want to go with something more extreme?

I decided on something different, went with the SMA guard and am very happy with it. Teaka ran a sale last year so the cost was almost the same as the other choices:
