Default Goodyear Duratracs vs Kelley Safari TSR

I have read nothing but the best reviews for the duratracs. After calling a few local tire shops, one guy told me about the Kelley Safari TSRs.

They are made by Goodyear and are modeled almost exactly the same as the Duratracs but are $50 dollars cheaper a tire!

Has anyone ever had these tires? If so what can i expect out of them? Noise, performance, mileage?

Thanks for the input!

I don't have any input on the Kelley tires sorry, but the Duratracs are apparently great. Had a friend on a local wheeling forum just buy them for his wifes jeep and they couldn't be happier.

thats what i am hearing about the duratracs. I have read nothing but good things about them. That is probably the best bet between the two.

The Duratracs are amazing tires! Kelley tires are the exact same thing as Goodyear without the name. All their tires are from the same molds. I couldnt find the kelley tires in the size I wanted so I ended up going with the Duratracs. You won't be disappointed either way. If you're patient you may find some great deals on eBay. I was buying one tire at a time. I found a 295 65 18 for $190 shipped and another for $160. Both brand new. Good luck.

I ordered my Duratracs yesterday after talking to a few friends that work with tires. They all said the duratracs will be able to get 10 to 15k more miles if rotated properly. Also i got a good deal (or from prices around here) 202 a tire installed (inlcuding tax). I stayed with the 265/75s. I debated on going up to 285 but this being the first tires I am buying for the Hummer, I want to see if I like the 265s first.

I will post pictures, as soon as I get them installed. Should be no later than Tuesday

If you can change your order - you may want to reconsider the 285's.

Default some pics

Here are some pics of 285's mounted on a non-lifted truck. I get 16mpg running 75mph with the a/c on. For your thoughts...

I had them installed last night. They look amazing. I went with the 265s bc the 285 are less than an inch bigger. Not very noticeable IMO. Also i do not do very much off roading in general. But I am very satisfied with them so far. Nice tire, good feel and look, and quiet
