Good Safety List To Check Off Before 4 Wheeling
We use this list in my 4 wheel drive club here in Vegas..( VV4W.org)....all of it comes in handy sooner or later for someone !
Safety Requirements: All vehicles will be required to have:
** Roll bar or factory installed hard top
[ol][ol][*]2. Functional parking brake
[*]3. Tow strap or rope (no metal hooks)
[*]4. First aid kit
[*]5. Jack capable of lifting the vehicle
[*]6. Tools to change your tire
[*]7. Spare tire (no temporary spare)
[*]8. Seatbelts for all vehicle occupants
[*]9. Tow points
[*]10. Battery hold-downs (no bungees)
[*]11. Fire extinguisher
[*]12. Plenty of water (for you and your vehicle) [/ol][/ol]
