Default Good idea to offroad with 22s?

Hey fellas...quick question. I'm going to hit up Anza Borrego this weekend and I'm wondering if it's a good idea to offroad with the wheels/tires I have on right now. Raceline 22s wrapped with 325/50/22 Nitto Terra Grapplers...or just better off with the stock 17s rims/tires I have in the garage. The ride is stock height by the way. Would I be ok? Thanks guys.

If you want to beat up your 22's off road then leave them on..personally I wouldnt even think about offroading in them...unless you only stick to the sand. I'v been out there plenty of times..

Also an almost complete novice to OR'ing but is there any concern about the strength of aftermarket rims in OR scenarios? I suspect the OEM rims are designed and manufactured to be an appropriate level of strength and such...

I wouldnt worry about the strength of the rims..I'v never heard of a rim failing off road..if you air down enough and dont have beadlocks you could pop a bead but as for rim strength I wouldnt worry.

I had 22's on an avalanche years ago and I was so paranoid about scratching them I wouldnt even go thru a drivethru for fear of rubbing the curb..

After the trip in shown in the pic my tire sidewalls were so beat up I was suprised I didnt get a flat..if I were on 22's with rubberbands for tires the rims would of been ruined
