Good idea to offroad with 22s?
Hey fellas...quick question. I'm going to hit up Anza Borrego this weekend and I'm wondering if it's a good idea to offroad with the wheels/tires I have on right now. Raceline 22s wrapped with 325/50/22 Nitto Terra Grapplers...or just better off with the stock 17s rims/tires I have in the garage. The ride is stock height by the way. Would I be ok? Thanks guys.

I wouldnt worry about the strength of the rims..I'v never heard of a rim failing off road..if you air down enough and dont have beadlocks you could pop a bead but as for rim strength I wouldnt worry.
I had 22's on an avalanche years ago and I was so paranoid about scratching them I wouldnt even go thru a drivethru for fear of rubbing the curb..
After the trip in shown in the pic my tire sidewalls were so beat up I was suprised I didnt get a flat..if I were on 22's with rubberbands for tires the rims would of been ruined
