Good Bye to the Harley

RE: Good Bye to the Harley
Thanks for all the words! It's not quite as bad as it seems, just wasn't as ready for this college thing as I thought I was. Had to make a decision, toys or college
Figure toys can come once my promotion comes through. Not like I'm hurting, still have my H3's still wasn't happy about it though
Again thanks for the words of support though.

Your son will appreciate your sacrifice one day...about the time he has to sell one of his toys for his son or daughter's college. If it helps any my daughter is a junior in college and she has already told me several times about things she remembers I told her or we fought about that she now thinks I was right on and agrees with me. It was worth my 67 Corvette coupe to hear that the first time. ( keep telling myself that, keep telling myself that...it will be ok )

Ah man, a '67 vette!! Although I know that hurts (because I would kill for one of those) I'm sure your daughter's education is worth a lot more than that vette (or Harley for your son) could ever bring you. I know when I was younger my dad told me about how he traded in his '72 Chevelle SS because of me. Now that I'm a little older and have a few toys of my own I feel bad about it and am working slowly on getting him back.
