What HG said is true, and it also may be that the USB ports are disabled in the BIOS. This is also easy to remedy if you know how. If it is a new laptop, you should be able to phone tech support and ask them to help you make sure they are working.

Thanks Mike, I just got back in and checked my email now but already brought my laptop back to best buy and they fixed the problem. Told me there was a hardware problem but I paid for 3 year no wuestion asked warrenty and got it fixed for free so it's all good.


I don't have windows XP on this laptop I got some new thing, Vista or something like that. Thanks anyway for your offer to help...much appreciated!! I will have pics up tonight once I get the my Dodge fixed

Notice how much higher the pool is than whats left of my yard? A guy came out yesterday with lasers and tripod thingy's and said that they need to add almost 13" of dirt to my backyard to correct the change in grade that the backhoe caused with it's tracks digging up everything. Damn I just had new sod put in 4 years ago to...that blows[:@]
