GM Performance Dual Exhaust

RE: GM Performance Dual Exhaust
Here is the best system. No muff! Be sure and turn down the tip and keep it up by the spring hanger to protect. Those chrome tips are bling around these parts. Read all those claims about hp and torque gains with those exhausts and then go figure the gain with none. The down pipe is compressed but is still the same volume. The cat is real small and you retain your O2 sensor. The resonator is a lot like an old glass pac. It is quite at idle and on the highway there is a slight "HUM" pun intended. If you nail it on the on ramps it will get throaty. Just turn up the XM and subwoofer!!
You can see in the second picture what will happen to the bling tips. I scraped the rear tow hook in this creek. Of course if you only go to the mall go for the chrome.

Gibson system
Gibson system
Dennis, is the Gibson exhaust system all S/S or just the tips? Here in Pa. if your exhaust isn't totally S/S, a stock exhaust will last about 2 to 3 years and a replacement (Midas, etc.) will last only about 1 year due to road salt from the winter. The Borla has a 1 million mile warranty and is S/S.

Nice setup Dennis, I like the tow hooks. I wanted to add them on but, ppl kept telling me I'd have to remove the bumpers to intall (front one anyway). Any truth to the matter?
