General Parts question...
Hi All-
Great forum- it has already saved me hundreds of dollars :-)
My bud owns a service station outside of Boston. He's been working on cars forever. He told me to get rid of my H3 because it is getting real difficult to find parts for them. He said even the tires are getting hard to find because they are a weird size.
I love my H3 and I really don't want to get rid of it.
Has anyone else out there had trouble finding parts for their H3?
Just wondering
Thanks,
Albert

Tires on the H3 (all 3 versions) are among of the most common size out there. As far as parts go, they are still available. The following were replaced on mine under warranty.
The headlight housing took 2 weeks to get, seat bottom cover-2weeks, hood louver-in stock, master cylinder-instock. GM has to supply parts for 7 years and the H3 had a 5 year run with minimal changes. As long as there is a demand, there will be parts.

Do yourself a favor and look up 265/75R16 and 285/75R16 (both of the H3 tire sizes) on ANY online tire retailer. You will have so many choices that it will take several pages to see them all for each size.
Then ask yourself, Hmmmmm WTF was "my bud who owns a service station outside of Boston" frickin' talking out of his AZZ for??? "Working on cars forever" does not mean you actually know what is happening with the "modern automobile".
Heck, look at tom!
