Gauges going crazy
I have a 2004 limited edition victory red H2 . noticed that most of my gauges starting to read wrong, volt , both temps, pressure all stopped working properly. my speedo and r.p.m and gas seem to be fine. heard a weird winding sound one day and nothing has been the same . everytime i start engine they begin in a different spot. has anybody had this issue? even though warrenty is up, is this a factory defect and can be replaced at no charge?

It's a known issue don't think it's covered under warranty and will run you a hundred to two hundred to get it fixed.
03-06 GM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REPAIR
Is the headline I see all the time on cragslist and he charges 100 if you get the cluster to him or 125-175 if he comes to you in DFW.

Regarding Gauge issue
Just curious could a short elsewhere possible cause the Gauges to go bonkers, I have an 03 H2 and the Gauges go bonkers and I can reset them removing fuses in box to reset. However they go bonkers again once I drive for a while. I am really looking more towards a Short Somewhere than a bad Cluster any input would be great..
Thanks,
Thanks,
