Gauge Pod

RE: Gauge Pod
I did an extended search a few months back and all I could find was generic stuff and pods for the H2.
Seems like there is something for the H3 but it was a universal fit that you had to modify.
If I run across the old info I will let you know...

RE: Gauge Pod
thanks for looking guys!
Here is one option I've found that might be a decent way to get some more data to the dash... a bit pricey though for just a pod with no gauges.

Ive also been looking for something that might mount on the cieling?
I definately don't think that anything for the pilar is made though. I might just get the pep boys one..i think it was on sale for $15 and see if it works or can be modded to work.

RE: Gauge Pod
You mean something like this in the "cockpit" of my Cummins or the scan II gauge option that is so simple, just plug er in! I added the last one of the pod but it is out of order and so am I. I think a little creative dremel tool work would make one fit but it is a really big project to try to wire one on the truck and on the H3 you would have a lot of trouble hooking up manual gauges and senders and keep from messing up the electronics. Here is a source for pods and stuff http://propartsllc.com/

RE: Gauge Pod
Hey Hunner, have you heard anything about the SGII guys being able to "flash" upgrade (via the web)
these puppies for additional functionality?
I heard that a while back but have not had the time or sense to follow-up with them.

RE: Gauge Pod
On the scan guage Im still pressing buttons. I love all the features. I have not heard of an upgrade but I will check, what else could there be?? ha ha
I will have to find the link to the gauges. I ended up buying them from a turbo place locally, cheaper. I looked a long time to find ones with the green light to match my dash.
The top one is important, EGT. Aluminum melts somewhere over 1300 degrees. Mine is boosted to 300hp and 600ft lbs for towing. That is on the dyno to the ground. You gotta know when to take you foot out of it as the governor is your foot on mine.
The middle is tranny temp. Important but not a problem now with a triple lock torque convertor that does not slip and a double deep pan.
Bottom is the fun gauge. My boost is up from stock 18 lbto 40lb
Now see you got me off the subject, you got a truck and a H3 Im just trying to keep up!
