RE: Gas millage
Just finished a roughly 1270 non-stop drive (minus fuel stops) in a hair over 18 hours. My 07 3.7 5-speed had a greattank thatgot 403 miles to the fuel light & the lasttank I was st 320 when the light came on.A whole lot on my change was due to the right foot and mydesire to get my tired butt out of those hard A$$ seats.

Yeah, mine has been fluctuating to.....I usually get 17.5mpg and it dropped on one tank down to 16.1mpg.....and then this last tank I got 340 miles on it....the gas light wasn't even on yet, and it only took 18.3 gallons to fill it......that's not bad! That equals about 18.5mpg.
Hmm, I wonder what will happen once the summer gas hits, and even warmer weather gets here.....

Oil was changed before the 3000 mile, 6-day trip. I really think my change in fuel economy was the additional 5 allowable MPH to the speed limit in Oklahoma and my desire to get home. The last 200 miles, I was pushing 85+.

FWIW: I took a trip half-way across the state a few weekends ago, and I wanted to see what kind of impact my speed would have on my mileage. The trip was about 170 miles each way, on the gentle hills of I-80 in eastern Iowa. On the first half of the round trip, I drove a pretty contant 70 MPH, and my mileage was about 16.35 MPG. On the way home, I drove 62 MPH and my mileage went up to 16.90 MPG. A modest difference, but noticeable. No mods on my '07 H3 other than a Nav system and Wrangler Silent Armor tires in the same size as the originals. I only have about 5000 miles on my H3 thus far.
Monday, I got my K&N installed, and I am anxious to see what kind of difference this will make.

Don't know why, but once I hit 170 miles at half a tank, but never again
