Fueling problem

Fueling problem
Everytime I try to fill my tank the pump clicks over as if the tank is full. I have tried to slowly fill the tank with the pump etc and still no luck. Could there be a problem with my fuel/gas neck line?

Could your breather line or canister be clogged? Try it with the fuel tank vent line disconnected. Does the pump handle go fully into the filler neck? Did someone try to steal your gas and/or break off an obstruction inside the filler neck?

The first time I had my 07 into the dealer there was a guy there because he could barely get gas into his tank. We talked about it because I had the same problem on my Jeep Wagoneer. I don't know what the final analysis was but the dealer initially told him it was a clogged vent line. Apparently they have seen it before where spiders crawl in there and nest and block it up.
Of course that wouldn't have anything to do with your cap not screwing on good.

I had this issue around 6 months back... over here they have guys who pump the gas for you... when I got to the pump it wouldn't fill. The guy thought the pump was the issue and moved me to another, same issue. Eventually i gave up and went to another garage and at first the guy had the same issue, but after a while he managed to get gas in.
I'd let it go down well onto the red (warning light was on) - i decided not to do that again (always nice to know I've got enough gas to take it to the dealer if there is a problem).
