Question Front Tires Camber Off????

So I did the torsion lift on my 06 H3...
Got the front level with the back ... both at 23.5in after 7.5 turns each side

Now when I stand looking at the front of the car, the front tires have a slight lean inward at the top of the tires for example this is what they look like.... / \

I got an alignment and everything is in spec. I don't know what the problem is and it's pissing me off because I'm about to buy some wrangler duratracs but can't until I get this fixed or my tires will wear like crap. PLEASE HELP thanks

Where did you get the alignment done? and what is the measurement after the alignment? How many miles do you have on your H3?

Sounds like the alignment wasn't done correctly. Mine were leaning a lot after the T-bar crank but are perfect after the alignment.

got the alignment at Sears Automotive...it has 77,000 miles on it

I did the torsion bar lift and took my h3 to sears the same day. Here's what they gave me when they finished

Front Left wheel
Camber: -0.4(actual) -0.4(before) Spec range: -0.6 to 0.6 degrees
Toe: -0.02(actual) 0.40(before) Spec range: -0.05 to 0.15 degrees

Front Right wheel
Camber: -0.5(actual) -0.6(before) Spec range: -0.6 to 0.6 degrees
Toe: 0.05(actual) 0.44(before) Spec range: -0.05 to 0.15 degrees

Front
Cross Camber: 0.1(actual) 0.1(before) Spec range: -0.6 to 0.6 degrees
Total toe: 0.03(actual) 0.84(before) Spec range: -0.10 to 0.30 degrees

It looks like they just put you back w/ in factory specs which isn't going to work after leveling. read these

Thanks JGB...but I dont think sears or many other auto shops will align the front out of stock spec. Will they?

Sears will, but they won't warranty the alignment if your specs are outside of the factory recommended ones.

(Sears in Louisville has done most of the alignments on my RX-7's for SCCA autocross which are way out of factory spec. Policy at your local Sears may vary...)

Alright im taking it up there friday...the sears guy said i may need a camber kit. Has anyone here had to invest in one of those?

Also I have a subwoofer system in the trunk that weighs about 200 lbs. could that be why?

You don't need any "camber kit" that is Sears trying to get into your pocket. I have 315 Duratracs on mine and it's leveled to 24" and my front tires are both straight up and down. Before the level and alignment, they were tilted in, but that is normal.
