Hello all. First post. Just picked up an '07 H3 for my wife a few weeks and already seriously thinking about trading my Hemi quadcab for one of my own! Love the thing and don't know why I waited so long to get it. Anyway, I am hoping someone can help me find a front bull bar similar to the one in this picture. I am guessing this is a one-off done for this H3, but I was hoping someone has seen something similar. I wouldnt mind the skid plate deal below it either, I have seen something similar to it but with a winch on the front and I am not interested in that. Yea sign me up for the bull bar and skid plate too. Plus I will take the hood as well.

 

If you find a source please let me know. I was looking for front grill guard but the "bull" bar looks nice. Now you've got me thinking.

Thats definatly a custom made bull bar. But you can find off the shelf versions on ebay, like this one:

Check out ebay. They usually have several listed at a decent price.

 

All the commercial aftermarket ones will cost some approach clearance & access to the tow hooks so if you plan on wheeling it I'd look for another option

 

Not sure if the wife is willing to do much serious off road but I have never liked the "Westin" style bull bar on any vehicle, they are completely cosmetic and not functional. I have seen them actually do more damage to a vehicle than without in an animal strike accident. Not fond of their looks and they definitely take a lot from your approach. It looks like something I will have to have custom made by one of our welders at work. While I am at I think I will design the brackets for bar so that the tow hooks need not be removed. IMO, the old out of production SMA bar still remains as about the only one that is truely functional. It also mounts between the tow hooks and the bumper so the hooks remain fully functional.
