hello every one i am liran from israel and i have hummer h-2 2005.
i a have a problem with my front axle cover it allways break from out side,the ring&pinion is ok.
what i need to do tha in the future it will not break?
i speak with UMI in israel and they told me that is a problem with h-2.

This is the first time I have heard of this problem with an H2. I don't believe it is a common problem. Breaking the front tie rod on the steering for example is a common problem on H2's used for heavy off road.

With the skid plate, I don't see how something could have hit your front axle cover so this is strange. How many times has it broken before? Under what circumstances did it break?

 

I have a similar problem. Front diff casing broke in bits after going up a steep incline. Anybody have a spare one? I'm in South Africa / Angola. No support for H2 from GM here
