Anybody know what size bulb I need?

 

What do you want to do, replace the factory bulb only with a higher wattage part or replace the entire lamp assembly?

 

need to replace the bulb, want yellow, not clear. I think they are 9006 but not sure. Factory bulb has no marking on it.

 

Try calling the parts dept in the morning..That's how I get some obsure info sometimes.

 

Just checked the Owner's Manual but you'll have to call the dealer because the foglamp bulb type is not listed.

Check out www.luminicsbulbs.com, they have yellow as well as about five other shades of white to blue lamps too.

 

I'd like to change mine to a higher wattage, if anyone gets the model # please post.

 

The bulb is a 9140 it was written on the bulb. The bulb is 45 watts. The equivilant is a 9145 alot more common or if you
want more wattage use a 9005 headlight. Not sure if the fog light housing can take the extra heat from the
9005 which is 65 watts. If you are looking for yellow bulbs try ebay listing #8060345864.

 

The H10 bulb is also equivilant to the 9145 it has the same socket and engagement for the housing. From what I have read
the 9005 socket is the same but it does not engage into the lamp housing as easy, the angles are not the same on the plastic base.
