Have a 2007 H3 and thinking of putting a flowmaster with dual outlets. Does anyone know if the flowmaster is installed in the same place where the original muffler is. It looks like there is a rear catalytic converter in the H3 (I may be wrong) so I'm guessing that the flowmaster would have to be installed behind the rear catalytic converter. Does anyone have pics under your H3 to show how the flowmaster would be set up for dual outlets?

 

I have an 07 H3 and got another muffler put on with dual outlets....cant remember what brand it is...only that it is stainless steel and the exhaust place had no problem fitting it

I have a Magnaflow cat-back. It's starts aft of the catalytic converter. Uses stock mounting points. Getting it in was pretty easy. Getting the old exhaust out however... well that required a lot of cutting and a little cursing.. or maybe it was the other way around.
Anyways, unsure about the Flowmaster specs but I would want to think they would be about the same as all the others in terms of mounting. Shoot the customer service an email just to be sure.

I know GM makes an oem dual outlet muffler, but last time I checked it was a $1000

Taking old off needs cutting?? Dam!! My Magnaflow is coming today, wasnt planning on having to cut anything, thought it would just bolt off bolt on.... oh well.... putting a k&N intake and 4 new KC's on also, 130w, pretty anxious to see how those look up on the new GOBI
