i do a lot of fishing. im looking to buy a mount that attaches to the brushguard to hold the rods or make my own. Im thinking of drilling some holes in the brush guard and screwing some surf rod sand spikes to it. any pics/info would be appreciated. thanks

 

I seen a cool one on a H2 it held 6 poles
An was mounted on his hitch on the back
Of his truck.

 

I have one made of Aluminum that holds 6 surf rods and a cooler. It fits into the 2" hitch. Was not pricey at all and I bought it at a tackle shop at the beach.

I always have it on the back, but it keeps you from opening the back door on the H3.

I'd actually like to put a front hitch mount on the H3 for it , and my silverado too for that matter.

 

Draw-Tite makes a front 2" hitch for H3 in case you want to mount your gear up front.

(I've been thinking of having a custom front hitch fabricated that pokes through the metal portion of the bumper in the area now covered by the front license plate.)

 

seems kinda cool
