I just filled my H3 for the first time and my mileage was 16 mpg with mixed driving in cool weather. I was mostly on regular roads with some stop and go driving with a little expressway. My first impressions are very positive with no complaints. You can always use more power but had no problems keeping up with trafffic or getting up to expressway speeds. The ride is as nice as my 03 silverado ss and the smaller cab does not bother me at all. I love the XM radio,the seats are very comfortable,dash board is very well laid out, the truck just seems very tight and the rear compartment is very handy (versus the pick-up). I am completly satified with my H3 so far and recommend one to anyone looking for a mid sized SUV. If you go to my dealer right now we only have a couple of H3's right now so G.M. must of got this mostly right.

I'm working on my 2nd and the first was at 15. 60/40 city hwy driving.
I try to keep the RPMs to around 2500 to help the fuel and it accellerates zer goot.

 

what's zer goot mean?

 

That would be German for Very good, but I believe it is mispelled. I think it should be Ser Gut, witht he sideways colon above the "u."

 

I think the right spelling is "sehr gut" and 'zer goot' is german slang.

 

I have only put two tanks of gas in myself yet. Both times it has been about 16 MPG. My wife does mostly in town driving. I have no idea what it is capable of on the highway.

I will have to agree with you on the "tightness" of the truck. I am very impressed by this truck.
