You're absolutely right Chris..My bad..The Magnuson Moss Act preserves this right...I was being a realist and suggesting a sure fire way not to get into a dispute over an oil filter possibly causing engine failure...So anyways, that's how I in my feeble mind justify stayingsafe and not sorry...I hate arguements with the dealer or GMover things that are simple to comply with on my part.

Besides, The OEM filter is cheap...around $5.00..and I change it it every 5000 miles anyways...
