Default Few questions on my newly serviced h3

Got 30,000 miles on a 06 that we purchased a few months back, check engine light came on and it felt a little odd so I called the dealer. On the way there the change oil light came on so I told them to do a change and check engine light.

Guy calls and said they replaced the cylinder head, I know nothing of cars/trucks is there only one of these for all 5 cylinders? Is this something I should look into happening again?

I'm going to look into purchasing an extended warranty because I would rather cough up soem dough now then a ton later on fixing this thing.

Also, does anyone else have a problem with windshield wipers? No matter what wiper I try there is a small spot in the lower middle section that will not wipe clean, like the glass is not even/flat an odd curve.

You should be good on the cylinder head (there is only one for all 5 cylinders) and it is a known issue with the early build H3's. As far as the wipers it has been my experience that the H3 wipers are nothing to write home about.

Do they replace them with the same model or something new and improved?

I'm pretty sure that they fixed whatever issue they were having and the replacement is upgraded parts.
