Thanks for the replys keep them coming!
Since you have an 08 the frame mods are already done for you. Contact this company and ask the owner some questions. He might be able to send you everthing you need for the swap. mashmotorsinc.com ask for Mike Mash!

Besides the front diff mentioned before you will need a PCM & TCM from an Alpha. Depending on when your H3 was produced in 08 the half shafts got stronger and larger.

I plan on going to the 4:56 gears in my Alpha to help with the 315/75R16s and drivability. The change from 4:10 to 4:56 should also give me a little more low end crawl ratio for the rocks!

Do you plan on wheeling (OffRoad) your midified H3? If so, you might as well get the Eton locker while upgrading to the Cast Iron case for your front diff.

Yeah the fire wall is redesigned, but the frame as far as I know is different weather you order the V8 or the I5. You my need mounts from current performance. They have them for Colorados/Canyons they should also work for the H3. I can build new harness or modify your existing harness to work with the V8.

You can Use the E67 PCM you have and get it reprogrammed, if you want a 58x ignition motor.

If you want a 24x motor you can use the E40 PCM, just will be a bit more work wiring wise, on a 08 and up hummer. 07 and older would be easier to run a E40 PCM. I can make either harness.

You can mate the V8 to either the stock MA5 spd Via advanced adapters AX15 bell and a RM quick time spacer and some modding here and there.

You can just swap out the input shaft, torque converter, and bell-housing, if it is an automatic.

There are several companies here in the states that precorm this swap but only 2 that I would ever let have my HUMMER.

08 H3/H3T: I5 Alum front Diff. 4:56 gears / V8 Cast iron front Diff. 4:10 gears
09-10 H3/H3T: I5 Alum front Diff. 4:56 gears / V8 Cast iron front Diff. 4:10 gears (Adventure/OffRoad I5 and V8 all had the cast iron front diff with Eton locker I5 4:56 / V8 4:10)
What companies in the states?
