Default Electric Supercharger

Just wandering if anyone has ever used an electric supercharger at all? Is it worth the money? Does it really work? Any negatives to running one? Any mpg gain/loss?
Thank-you
Don

In principle it looks interesting, but after watching the video on a retailers website I'm not impressed. The guys could barely blow over a 2x4 standing on end with the wimpy airflow from a foot and a half away. For the e-supercharger to be effective it would be pulling a LOT of amps! (and probably have several stator/rotor stages) You would have better luck making a ram-air intake through the fender up to the "air cleaner" at the base of the windshield. If you try ram-air, remember that you want an expansion chamber in the intake tube to slow the air down so that it can have volume and pressure gains and not just a straight tube of high velocity/low pressure air. But, ram air starts to work at close to a hundred mph and I'm not spending much time there with my H3.

With the H3T you can run a generator in the bed powering two high power carpet blowers/dryers into the intake with strings on the switches tied to the accelerator pedal so when you mash the pedal, you get super power!!! Until the generator runs out of gas.
However, it is hard to see around those things bolted to your hood making them ilegal in many states
