Yup, OEM rock sliders. Got them used right here in the Classified section for about $250.00 shipped across the country.

5-Wheel rotate them every 5,000 miles and they'll perform well and last a long time.

We're close to 45k miles on our 285 Duratrac upgrade and still have over 1/2" of tread depth left!

What's the stock tread height? I have about 27K miles on them and they look about 1/2 worn from new but I'd like to get a good measurement on them anyway. I thought they were supposed to last around 50-55K miles? You're going to get 90K out of yours?

You still have 9/32nds left after 45,000 miles!

WOW, you put on 45,000 miles on those tires since 07-13-2009! Amost 1875mi per month / 22,500per year! I am a district manager and I cover an entire state+ and I don't put that kind of miles on my rigs. What the heck do you do for a living? How many miles do you have on your 2006 H3 now? You bought it in March of 06, so like 122,000! Is she still running strong???

LT265/75R-16 Tread Depth = 18/32
LT285/75R-16 Tread Depth = 18/32
LT315/75R-16 Tread Depth = 18/32

Hope this helps!

Default Dura Tracs with original rim and 1 1/4"spacer

Also I chose the Dura Tracs as the perfect allrounder!

I'm very happy about their look and performance on road....

To get rid of the touching at the sway bar I added 1 1/4" spacers!
This way I can any time add a 4" lift and still use the original rims....4.5" backspace!

After the spacers were installed I had a scratching where the lower part of the front fender flares were attached.
I just cut the obstructing plastic away and leveled my H3....problem solved.

Now I'm only waiting till my Rancho extended shocks arrive and then a shakle lift in the rear will make it perfect.

As I had also last weeks a starting issue I directly replaced the battery connectors and battery. Optima battery fitts well in the plastic case and gives sufficient power.

My H3 is getting a photo spot and attraction on our cable car in Hong Kong.
I'm very happy with the changes up to date....and more happy that I kept the original wheels and decided to go for bigger tires.

Default to rotate,or not to rotate?

5-Wheel rotate them every 5,000 miles and they'll perform well and last a long time.
its not shakespeare but it is my question, whats the point or the difference?
1 wear in 50000 miles if no rotate?
2 handling affect if no rotate?
first id like to have the fun of a new set of tires like those dura tracs.
but my 07 at 57000,265 still looked good to go,now my 10,285 at 11000 are like new.
so whos going to buy the old tires?,at what price?,,,any price?

if i rotate every 5000 to stretch the life i may never really "need" a new set,AND at 50000 thats 10 rotations at $20 or $200 that could go toward a new set if i just wear them out by not rotating.

i admit,i drove that 07 from 37000 to 57000 without rotating and it handled great and tires looked great at 57k.

so if it does not affect handling ill skip rotation and wear them out in?----miles?

i still may have to wait 5 years b 4 i get to buy my new rubber! im doing appx 12000/yr
any comments welcome

That's a good one! My background is in logistics so I maximized all of my longer trips to coincide with Store visits as well as District and Regional manager meetings/training. Sometimes I even planned them around a vacation trip to further maximize the miles driven and have my fuel paid for.

What's your tread depth after 45K?
