Duramax H2 Birth

Is there actually a motor in this pic?? Or is this a result of the reverse tapered body lift? The extra gap between the front wheel and fender just doesn't look right...
Taking your conversion route...approximately how many hours are in the build?
Anything you'd do different on the next one?

Sorry I didn't answer
No cooling issues even here in Fla. The fan is fully shrouded so it retains maximum cooling for the Dmax.
MPG I am told is 15 in town 19 hwy but we are known for SUV's not H2's so we shall see. Our 07-10 2500 Suburbans get 16-20 so the a-fore doesn't seem to out of the realm.
This build set the client back 19K and change.

Well this is where we are at
The LBZ QudraSteer Yukon (in back ground) had to get built during the H2 so we had to pause the project for 2 weeks
[IMG][/IMG]
the under hood is a little tight but its close, the fab'd air box draws cool air from the fender well
[IMG][/IMG]
Cruising the H2
[IMG][/IMG]
No lights everthing is good
[IMG][/IMG]
NAV and 4X4 all ok so we will wrap this one up Monday

Nice job on keeping us updated.
Your shop is pretty close to Ocala, where the Florida HUMMER guys meet to off road, we'll have to see if we can get you out there for a run. I just got back to Florida, so I haven't been yet, but it's in the cards.
What do you do for the gas tank--drain and run diesel, or do you have to change it up for the fuel pump?
I like that you didn't change the gauges, just the 4x4 cluster. Does the HUMMER still get the option to be towed in neutral?
Thanks again--good job
