Default Duramax H2

Anyone know of an H2 Duramax for sale? What are they going for?

Im thinking of doing a conversion but want to make sure I cant just buy one at a "reasonable" price. I have seen a couple for sale that were just too expensive.

It truly depends on what you consider too expensive.

I already paid for and scheduled to get mine done by Predator Motorsports, total cost for the Duramax LML engine, Allison tranny installed and warranty was $31280

Which is cheaper than I thought to be honest.

I did look around and there were some smaller shops touting lower prices but there was only an "in shop" warranty that limited me to that shop for any repairs. Predator and a couple other places are certified GM, which means I can still go to a dealer if I really needed to.

I've heard some horror stories from people who had smaller shops do the work for alot less and its never been the same for them. I'm not one to take the chance.

30k to 40k is pretty decent in my book considering its not much less to replace the OEM gas and transmission (never just replace one always both).

Just my 2 cents worth.

Gleamor, Thanks for your post. I did call Predator and talked to them about their conversion. They have one for sale on their site for $65,000. looks like a good deal since the owner spent over 100k on his truck.

If anyone knows of one already converted to a Duramax that is for sale please let me know.

Im in the research phase and am really enjoying the process.

65K seems steep, must have a ton tricked out mods, 31K for the LMM build sounds right in line though, Our LMM Subs & Yukons are 20-25K and the H2 is with a LBZ 17-20 depending on options, having a GM warranty is sweet though.

Oh I forgot the other H2 builder besides Predator or DuraBurb is Mash Motors, you can check with them too, sometimes it just comes down to timing, we are backed up till April.

Default H2 duramax

I have a 2008 limited h2, ultra marine with a duramax lmm and Alison trans. I have been thinking about selling it, just not sure what to ask for as far as price. It stickered at $70,000.00 and another $32,000 for the mashmotors conversion. I have put around 30k on the motor since the conversion.

No problem..I saw your post and the CL ad at the same time so good coincidence. I live about 3 miles from Predator so if there's something you want me to look at let me know.
