Tylacine/ tasmanian tiger. Its not a type of a canine but it's actually a marsupial. Despite its looks it is in no related to dogs. It closest living relative is the tasmanian devil. The tasmanian tiger was driven to extinction by the introduction of dingos thousands of years ago. They survived only on the island of tasmania until european colonised the island. Seen has a threat to livestock and was hunted and killed by farmers.
