Default does a dead battery reset the computer?

My battery went completly dead. I jumped it and it's fine. I must have left something on. I noticed the clock even rest.
My question is, does the oil change indicator reset or is it still good?

I would think the oil indicator would reset, but i'm NOT POSITIVE. But these trucks have a timer that will shut all the lights off after X amount of time; I'm pretty certain you didn't leave anything on...

Default i guess,,,

i think much info must be stored in memory liks sd cards. if oil got reset with any batt dead or disconnected, you could go ,in theory, years! or 50000 miles.
batts do get changed, die, and you can leave headlights on and batt will be killed,,,i admit my stupidity!!

tom

btw it takes more than a drive around the block to bring a batt back up to full, that i also learned!

I had my battery disconnected yesterday. The only thing I had to reset was the clock. I feel sure the oil life function is protected.
